Turquoise Whimsy

Posted on

I love when people ask me for wedding advice. What’s the point of reading so many wedding blogs and magazines every day if I can’t share the things I get so excited about? That’s one of the reasons I started blogging to begin with, and why I was so happy when a sweet bride-to-be that I know asked me to create an inspiration board for her. I honestly think that every bride should start their planning with an inspiration board. Not only will it keep her on track, it’ll also make it so easy to share her vision with all her vendors so that everyone will be on the same page. This bride loves turquoise, ivory, DIY, and whimsical/fun details, but she also wants to keep things elegant. Here’s what I came up with:

I thought that if she kept the big things (ex. her dress) classic and timeless, she could go whimsical and fun on the details (ex. her shoes, jewelry, and a rockin’ birdcage veil). I also included lots of easy DIY projects, and plenty of pretty turquoise, which happens to be my favorite color as well.

What do you think? And like I said, I love answering questions and sharing my ideas, so please never hesitate to contact me! :)

Love,

Lisa
