Romantic Moroccan-Inspired Wedding

September 24, 2012

One piece of advice that I sometimes give to brides who ask me about their wedding plans is that every single detail doesn’t need to be a revolutionary new concept–instead, focus on one or two statement elements and make them extra special. I’ve noticed that many weddings I’m drawn to follow that sort of pattern, and I think today’s does as well. Every piece is gorgeous and special, but the lush, colorful, rich flowers really elevate everything to the next level! Of course, starting with a beautiful venue is a must as well, and Korakia Pensione could not be more perfect for this Moroccan-inspired wedding.

{Vendors: Photographer: Joy Marie Studios| Venue: Korakia Pensione| Event planning and design: Amy Kaneko Events| Bride’s gown: Vera Wang| Hair: Metin Serdan| Makeup: Noseph Trinh| Florals: The Velvet Garden| Cinematography: Thomas Hughes Films| Catering: Heirloom LA| Rentals: Classic Party Rentals and Found Vintage Rentals| Linens: La Tavola| Lighting: Images by Lighting| Wedding invitations and programs: Tiny Pine Press| Calligraphy: Barbara Callow and Laura Mendoza}

Thank you so much to Joy Marie for the honor of sharing this incredible wedding! I’m super inspired by it, and I hope all of you are too! :)

Love, Lisa
