Today’s inspiration board was inspired by my third and final roommate. It has been a lot of fun for me to create boards based off of people I know so well, and I love how differently they all turned out (you can see the first two here and here). I’ve never really done a beach inspiration board, but my roommate gave me the perfect opportunity when she described her dream wedding–an elegant, formal take on a Hawaiian destination wedding. She loves bright colors, feminine details, and of course, the romance of the beach, so here’s what I came up with.

The bright flowers are my favorites, though I think the Badgley Mischkas in the sand are a pretty perfect fit for this board!
