I wrote a similar post to this around Christmas time, and was touched to receive some really sweet comments on it…plus, it got good traffic from people looking up “what to wear to a Christmas church service.” That was my goal: to give people who were turning to the internet for answers a destination! With that in mind, I wanted to share an Easter edition too. I know church can feel intimidating if you don’t attend regularly, but I hope these ideas of what to wear can alleviate at least one thing you may be anxious about. Though it truly doesn’t matter what you wear to church, I know that I feel much more confident and comfortable in a new situation when I’ve chosen an appropriate outfit. I haven’t decided what I’m wearing on Easter yet, but you can bet it’ll be inspired by one of the looks below!
If you’re feeling nervous butterflies about the Easter service you’re attending, I want to encourage you that your presence is wanted and welcomed. Easter is the most joyful day of the liturgical year, and it is beautiful to see a church packed with people ready to celebrate Christ’s resurrection!
