My Valentine’s Day-induced love of pink has officially been taken over by a crush on all things cherry red. The prettiest red always make me think of New England weddings, which always leave me breathless with their clean lines, sentimental details, and striking venues. The brides all seem so classy and chic, and grooms in navy and red will never go out of style. For this week’s inspiration board, I decided to pull together a bunch of details that would make up my perfect New England wedding (you know, just in case Style Me Pretty ever wants to hire me and I have to move to Massachusetts
), with a color palette made up of bold red, crisp white, and pops of perfect sky blue.

I am convinced that a gorgeous white lighthouse is the perfect wedding venue, and mixing classic and DIY details is right up my alley. And how about those red chiavari chairs? I’m officially calling it…colorful chiavaris are going to be huge this year, and I’m excited!
Love,
Lisa

{I’m pretty sure this picture will be on every wedding blog round up in the world today…I mean, come on, it’s Jose Villa photographing cupcakes in a field. Also known as wedding blog gold!
{I am absolutely in love with how editorial this picture is. I rarely find a black and white picture that I like more than its color counterpart, but this one is perfect! Also seriously considering a Dress Envy post featuring this gorgeous gown
{Yup, this picture is from the same wedding as shown above. I couldn’t choose a favorite, but I bet you all can’t either! Isn’t that vintage-y ferris wheel adorable? If you haven’t checked out this whole wedding yet, I highly recommend it!}
{Glam cowgirl bridesmaids–what a great combination! I’ve never seen cowboy boots styled this way before, and I am quite a fan of it. Picture by
{One last Valentine’s Day picture for good measure! This Valentine’s Day elopement session is so romantic and intimate–just like I would imagine an elopement should be. I love the candlelit ceremony, all of the pretty pink details, and the slight chess theme! Picture by
