1. Gold NYE Wedding Inspiration

    Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We’re finishing up the year on Something Pretty in the prettiest way I could think of–a glamorous, sparkly, gold and pink New Year’s Eve wedding inspiration shoot that was brought to life by some of Dallas’ finest. This shoot, in a word, just makes me happy. When I started blogging over two years ago, my reason was to write about things that do just that, and this shoot reminded me of my original goal in a big way. So cheers y’all, to the perfect bouquet wrapped in gold sequin ribbon, to personalized champagne labels, to seriously stylish cake tables, and to making 2013 the happiest year yet!

  2. Elegant Glamorous Winter Wedding Inspiration

    I tend to gravitate more toward rustic and cozy when it comes to Christmas and winter decorations, but this glamorous styled shoot had me at velvet linens! A similar look (blush blooms, gray linens, lots of crystal) would be gorgeous any time of year, but in this case, the understated Christmas accents, like the Silent Night signage and sparkly white trees, make this shoot perfect inspiration for a December wedding.

  3. Snowy Winter Wedding Inspiration

    Happy December! I’m thrilled that this month is finally here, especially because the end of the semester (I’m done this Friday!), Christmas, and winter weddings are just a few of my favorite things.   4. Rustic Glam Autumn Styled Shoot

    It’s always interesting when you hold a pretty strong opinion, and then something comes along and blows that opinion out of the water. That’s how it was with me and this gorgeous styled shoot. I usually can’t stand autumn wedding colors because I’ve never seen them done in a chic way, but this shoot is perfectly glamorous, rustic, and elegant. Autumn wedding colors, I concede. When done like this, I can’t help but swoon!

  5. Derby-Inspired California Styled Shoot

    Hey y’all! I missed this little blog last week, but taking the week off to focus on other things was much needed and very helpful. I’m excited to be back today with this beautiful styled shoot from 410 Studio–a bridal shower inspired by the opening day of the Del Mar Horse Races in San Diego. The sunny colors, gorgeous flowers, fabulous hats, and darling dessert table are perfect for a summer shower, and you know how much I love horses!
