1. Naturally Elegant Santorini Wedding

    January 23, 2012

    If I were ever to have a destination wedding and had to choose a gorgeous location, Santorini, Greece would definitely be at the top of the list. I visited Santorini with my family four years ago, and we all fell in love with the incredible scenery, breathtaking sunsets, and hospitable people. This lovely bride and groom celebrated their marriage right in the midst of it all, surrounded by 50 of their family members and closest friends. Punam Bean Photography was there to capture all of the special moments in such a special place. Take a look!

    So gorgeous, right? I love all the shots of the bride’s long veil blowing in the wind! For an extra dose of Greek inspiration, I did a “honeymoon packing list” for Santorini a few months ago, which you can revisit here.

    Love,

    Lisa

    P.S. Pictures and recap of The Cream Event will be up tomorrow! :)

  2. Love List

    January 20, 2012

    My first week of the spring semester just wrapped up, and thanks to a little thing called The Cream Event, I could not possibly be more excited for my first weekend back in Austin! I finally picked out my outfit, my business cards are ready to go (and I’m obsessed with them…pictures next week!), and Mercury Hall is already programmed into my GPS. If you’re in Austin and you’re a bride or you just love weddings like me, this is an event you do not want to miss, so go buy tickets before it’s too late! Besides the excitement of the upcoming event, here are a few things I’m loving this week.

    {Okay, one more thing about The Cream Event! This is the inspiration board for it, and I cannot wait to see how beautifully this comes together! Picture via The Cream Event blog}

    {I think this was my favorite wedding of the week. Copenhagen, Corbin Gurkin, and gorgeous succulent arrangements are kind of all trump cards in my book! :) Picture by Corbin Gurkin Photography via Style Me Pretty}

    {Even though it got up to 79 degrees yesterday, it’s technically still winter, and I’m still loving the look of snowy winter weddings! Bright red and buffalo plaid look perfect against that snowy Wisconsin field. Picture by Love is a Big Deal via Green Wedding Shoes}

    {I love Footloose, and started tapping my toes as soon as I clicked on this adorable Footloose-themed engagement party! Events by Sarah Elizabeth did an amazing job capturing the colorful, joyful vibe of that famous prom scene. Picture by Daniel Mast Photographer via The Wedding Chicks}

    Have a happy weekend!

    Love,

    Lisa
