1. Dress Envy

    January 18, 2012

This stunner of a Vera Wang dress is perfect from every angle! From the skirt…

    to the back…

    to the whole thing together!

To accessorize such a show-stopping dress, this lovely Georgia bride selected a beautiful emerald necklace and some sparkly gold Louboutins. I believe that that is the definition of a stylish bride! What’s your favorite part of this dress?

    Love,

    Lisa

  2. Dress Envy

    January 11, 2012

Some brides just radiate with style, and this bride is one of them. At one of the most chic, original, and organic weddings I’ve ever seen, she rocked the perfect combination of Vera Wang, Christian Louboutin, and BHLDN. Be still my heart!

Be sure to check out the full wedding, photographed by dove + sparrow, on Style Me Pretty! It’s a can’t-miss, not to mention my favorite wedding of 2012 so far. :)

    Love,

    Lisa

  3. Love List

    January 6, 2012

How has everyone’s first week of 2012 been? I’ve been feeling super motivated, inspired, and excited ever since the calender changed, and I can only hope that this attitude sticks around for awhile! I’m currently putting the finishing touches on a project that I’ll be unveiling on Monday, so be sure to check back then. :) In the meantime, here are some of the pretty things that have gotten my 2012 off to a gorgeous start.

For even more inspiration, check out two amazing online magazines that came out with new issues this week. Style Me Pretty published their “Best of 2011″ E-Glossy, which included tons of my personal favorite weddings, and Matchbook Magazine published their one-year anniversary January issue!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    Lisa

  4. Dress Envy

    December 28, 2011

It’s not too terribly often that I see a wedding or photo shoot that I consider completely perfect. Usually there’s a detail or two that’s not necessarily my favorite, or I’m not crazy about one thing or another. Not so with a recent shoot on Style Me Pretty, expertly styled by Simply Fabulous Events and Design, and photographed to perfection by Emily Steffen. I pinned the heck out of this shoot, not to mention saved a few pictures into my personal future wedding file! One of the prettiest parts of the shoot is the gorgeous model and her incredible dress–which, get this, consists of a frothy blue tulle skirt she sewed herself, topped with a sparkly shirt from Target! Target, y’all! I am 100% smitten. Check out how beautiful it is!

How dreamy!! Now run, don’t walk, to go admire the rest of the shoot. Sparkly linens, mercury glass, baby’s breath, and flurrying snow, all on Style Me Pretty.

    Love,

    Lisa

  5. Dress Envy

    December 20, 2011

    …and shoe envy.

I mean, come on now… a Badgley Mischka ruffly skirt lifted slightly to reveal stunning turquoise Louboutins? That is exactly the kind of prettiness that has me thinking about it all day! Snippet and Ink posted this fabulously intimate New York City wedding (ceremony in Duane Park, dinner at their favorite restaurant, and a private concert for the couple and their fifty guests) a few months ago, and the bride could not have picked a more beautiful and fun dress. Picture by Karen Hill Photography.

Are you a ruffles kind of girl, or do you prefer a more classic look? I am all about texture, so ruffles all the way for me!

    Love,

    Lisa
