    I’ve always loved when brides wear fabulous shoes on their wedding day, and the more those shoes show off the bride’s personality, the better. With each bride’s unique style in mind, Kristie Ann Couture  for Advantage Bridal, a customized line specializing in shoes for weddings and other special events, offers an array of lovely shoes in a variety of colors. The best part? If you can’t find the perfect shoe, you can order a custom pair by mixing and matching the embellishments, which include lace or beaded trims, Swarovski crystals, brooches, feathers, and lots more. Even the heel height is customizable! With today’s brides seeking unique accessories and a lot of personalization, Kristie Ann Couture can definitely make your wedding day a bit more incredible. If there is anything you want to add to your wedding shoes, you can send a special request in and they will take care of you!

    Here are a few of my personal favorites–there is certainly something for every bride at Advantage Bridal.

  2. Love List

    April 6, 2012

    I think April is off to a pretty lovely start, don’t you? I had a stressful morning yesterday, but my drive home across Central Texas with the wildflowers blooming, windows down, and country music blasting made me feel so grateful for spring! I’m ready to enjoy this Easter weekend by spending as much time as I can outside in the hammock reading this book (it was written by a friend of my mom!), hanging out with my family, and catching up on some pretty blogs. Now here are some of my favorites from the week!

    {I thought this balloon release send-off was so unique and whimsical! You could display the balloons in a bunch at the ceremony entrance as a decoration, and then invite everyone to take one with them on their way out. Gotta love when one thing serves two purposes! By Landon Jacob Productions via Southern Weddings}

    {Seriously, this might be the best styled bridal party ever! From the gorgeous bride rocking her BHLDN dress (one of my favorites!) to the mismatched ‘maids, I’m positive that every one of them will get tons of wear out of these outfits! By Junophoto via Style Me Pretty}

    {I don’t know what it is about circus-themed weddings, because I don’t even like the real circus, but the weddings always blow me away! This vintage circus-themed wedding balances retro, DIY, elegant, and whimsical perfectly, and I love the balloon centerpieces. By Christian Cruz Photography and Andy Nguyen via Green Wedding Shoes}

    {In light of the gorgeous New York City wedding (and my dream NYC wedding inspiration board) on Something Pretty this week, I had to share this cute shoe shot! What a great idea for showing off both your heels and your venue location. Check out the full wedding to see the bride’s amazing bouquet, too! By Jen Huang Photography via Once Wed}

    {This is going to be a lifesaver for brides planning a wedding sans-planner! My dear friend Rhiannon of Hey Gorgeous pulled together a detailed wedding day timeline for Wedding Chicks, and I’m ready to share the free download with every bride I know! Plus, how cute is that invitation suite from The Green Kangaroo?}

    I’m so excited for next week–my birthday week! I have some seriously pretty things lined up, and I can’t wait to share them. Have a wonderful weekend and a blessed Easter!

    Love,

    Lisa

  3. Rose Gold Romance

    March 27, 2012

    There’s something so special about rose gold. It’s so delicate and feminine, but at the same time, so daring in the fact that it’s far less common than its yellow and white counterparts. The rose gold wearer is classic but outside the box; she is elegant, but a little bit cheeky. I would love to see more rose gold details in weddings this year, so here’s a little round-up of some favorite pieces!

    {1. catbird, 2. Tiffany & Co, 3. Bauble Bar, 4. Deborah Lippmann, 5. Tiffany & Co, 6. Marc Jacobs}

    What else would you picture at a wedding with these types of accessories? I’m thinking an ivory lace gown with a keyhole back (like this one), sterling roses, and lots of chandeliers. Can’t wait to hear what you envision!

    Love,

    Lisa

  4. Art to Inspiration

    March 7, 2012

    One of the best parts of blogging is getting to know some incredibly creative, talented people through reading their blogs, and getting a chance to work together with them on a project is amazing! I’m so delighted today to join in on the Art to Inspiration collaboration–a project started by Supal of Chevron and Eclairs. Every month, she shares a beautiful piece of artwork with a group of bloggers, who then use that work of art to create anything from collages, to outfits, to inspiration boards. I love this concept, because as I say constantly on this blog, inspiration can come from anywhere!

    This month’s piece is called “Moonlight” and it was painted by Atlanta artist, HENSE. Naturally, my contribution to the collaboration is a wedding inspiration board, so take a look at the painting and check out how I interpreted it into a wedding!

You can also check out all of the other Art to Inspiration bloggers in one place on the Chevron and Eclairs facebook page this Friday–I’ll be sure to include the link in my love list. Hope you’ll join us in the fun next month!

  5. Love List

    March 2, 2012

    Finally, it’s Friday! I thought February was going to be my crazy month for the semester, but now I’m pretty sure it’s going to be March…funny how that works out. Regardless, I’m thrilled that spring is on its way fast, complete with lots of pretty pastels, gorgeous flowers, and of course, wedding season! Any spring or summer brides out there gearing up for their big day? Be sure to check out the Something Pretty Online Wedding Design services if you need a little extra hand with anything. :)

    {It made me so happy when my sweet blog friend, Jillian of Mimi Nicole, pointed out that she thought I would love this stylish bride’s striped shoes, because I absolutely do!
